 The MicroFit HealthStar Manager is a student assessment and class management software program designed for K-12 physical education teachers. This comprehensive program is loaded with features including fitness assessment, rubrics, attendance, notes, and exercise logging using heart rate monitors and pedometers. HealthStar Manager will print a variety of informative reports for students, parents, teachers and school administrators.
HealthStar Manager offers several featured-packed fitness assessment components including FITNESSGRAM ® and The President’s Challenge. The MicroFit Fitness Profile allows you to build customized fitness assessments choosing from over 30 supplied tests or from new tests you add to the program. Report comments in the Fitness Profile report can also be customized to reinforce your classroom lesson plans.
When interfaced with the MicroFit FAS-2 fitness
testing equipment, HealthStar Manager comes alive with animated computer graphics so the assessment seems more like a video game than a sophisticated testing system. HealthStar Manager with the MicroFit FAS-2 System provides a fun and motivational experience your students will want to do again and again.
With HealthStar Manager you can create analytical and holistic rubrics for movement and skill assessment as well as general assessment of knowledge and behavior. Rubric reports can be customized to include multiple rubrics and comments with insert codes for information like student name, teacher name and rubric score. Once a rubric is created it can easily be transferred to all teachers in the school or district using the export and import features.
HealthStar Manager includes numerous time saving, class management features to help you organize your daily record keeping and analyze data used for grading. Information about student attendance, activity, and behavior is entered into the program and meaningful reports can be printed moments later for your students or their parents.
