 The MicroFit HealthStar Manager is a student assessment and class management software program designed for K-12 physical education teachers. This comprehensive program is loaded with features including fitness assessment, rubrics, and exercise logging using heart rate monitors and pedometers. HealthStar Manager will print a variety of informative reports for students, parents, teachers and school administrators.
HealthStar Manager offers many fitness assessment features including the President’s Challenge Fitness Test, state assessments and a health screen for body fat
and BMI.
With HealthStar Manager you can create analytical and holistic rubrics for movement and skill assessment as well as general assessment of knowledge and behavior. Rubric reports can be customized to include multiple rubrics and comments with insert codes for information like student name, teacher name and rubric score. Once a rubric is created it can easily be transferred to all teachers in the school or district using the export and import features.
HealthStar Manager is compatible with all heart rate monitors and pedometers and is an excellent tool for tracking and reporting student exercise.
