Here at MicroFit we are constantly improving the HealthStar Manager software and release program updates 1-3 times a year. The major new features of these updates are listed below. The update features are cumulative, so each new update will include the features of all the previous updates. If your school has a MicroFit service contract, minor software updates will be automatically mailed to you about 30 days after the release date. If your school does not own a service contract, you may purchase an update program CD by contacting MicroFit Sales.

HealthStar Manager and HealthStar Tracker Software Updates
Version 5.3.2 — August 2006 Version 5.3.0 — August 2005 Version 5.3.2        Released August 2006 FITNESS Enhanced student fitness reports Student fitness reports for Fitnessgram, President’s Challenge, and Virginia Wellness-Related Fitness Test now include comments as well as student height and weight (see sample reports). Student fitness reports - Compare two trials in same term You can now print a student fitness report that compares the scores from two trials in the same term. New Fitness Profile Class List Report A class list report can now be printed for any custom assessment you create with the Fitness Profile assessment. Enhanced Class List Reports For all Class List reports, except Fitness Profile, the student scores are printed in a green or blue color to indicate the score is above standard. A score printed in black indicates it is below standard. Fitnessgram Update In the Fitnessgram assessment, Pull-Ups have been removed and the comparison standards have been updated. New - Connecticut Physical Fitness Assessment Assessment data can be entered using HealthStar Manager (PC) or HealthStar Tracker (handheld computer). HealthStar Manager prints a Student Report, Class List Report and the Test Administrator’s Summary Report (see sample reports). YMCA bike test for aerobic fitness In the MicroFit Fitness Profile assessment the YMCA bike test is now included in the list of test protocols used for the measurement of aerobic fitness. DAILY LOG New Student Attendance Report This new report shows a student’s attendance record for a term in a calendar format. Absent or tardy days are highlighted in color for quick identification. Reasons for absent or tardy are listed at the end of the report (see sample reports). New Class Attendance Report This new report lists the entire class in spreadsheet format and shows the attendance records for the term. Absent or tardy days are highlighted in color with an attendance note code. Student attendance summary is printed at the end of the report (see sample reports). HEALTHSTAR TRACKER Fitness Profile Assessment – Enter fitness test scores on handheld You can now enter fitness data for Fitness Profile assessments (custom assessments) on your handheld computer. ADMINISTRATION Delete teacher You can now delete a teacher from the teacher list. Enhanced student list organization At the beginning of the class import process you can now deactivate all students in the database. Only students in the import file or added manually will be shown in the active list. This new feature keeps your student list at its minimum size and moves all students who have left the school to the inactive student list.

Rubrics
	HealthStar Manager and HealthStar Tracker now include rubric assessment. You can create an unlimited number of rubrics and design reports that include one or more rubrics, special insert codes and text comments. Rubrics you create can be exported to a file and shared with other HealthStar users. Student rubric scores can be entered either on the PC or on a handheld computer running the HealthStar Tracker program.
FITNESS PROFILE
	If your HealthStar computer is connected to the MicroFit FAS-2 fitness assessment equipment, there is a new Calibrate button located on the Fitness Profile test screen. This convenient button location makes it quick and easy to check the calibration of a testing device or do a re-calibration if needed.
	PACER Test Scores You can now enter PACER test scores for students of all ages. Previously you could not enter scores for students under age 10. 1 Mile Run You can now enter 1 Mile Run test scores for students of all ages. Previously you could not enter scores for students under age 10. Sit Reach: Back-Saver You can now enter Sit Reach: Back-Saver test scores above 12 inches. Previously the HealthStar program limited the maximum score to 12 inches. FAS-2 Equipment Calibration Prior to this version, if a computer had the HealthStar Manager and HealthWizard software programs installed – and these programs were connected to the MicroFit FAS-2 testing equipment – it was necessary to do a separate FAS-2 calibration in each of the software programs. Now the FAS-2 calibration is shared between the two programs and the calibration performed in one program will be recognized in the other program. User’s Guide The HealthStar Manager User’s Guide (Help program) has been expanded to include more content. Help buttons have been added to most of the forms for better access to help information. HealthStar Tracker The fitness assessment button label has been changed from an A to an F. A new R button has been added for the new Rubrics feature.
