MicroFit's exclusive RoboBike
attachment transforms the
Monark 828E or 818E bike into a
completely automated electronic
testing bike. RoboBike quickly and
accurately adjusts the workloads
for you, reducing the risk of
assessment error and letting you concentrate on the client’s physical responses to exercise to
ensure a safe assessment. After you attach RoboBike to the
Monark bike and connect it to the FAS-2 CTI unit, the
HealthWizard Fitness Profile program will command the
RoboBike to automatically change the workload as the program
monitors the rider’s heart rate and bike RPM.
 By automating the Monark bike, the MicroFit
RoboBike increases the accuracy and safety
of your fitness assessments. Workload
changes occur on time and are completed
within 5 seconds. The RoboBike constantly senses the actual workload and makes frequent small
adjustments to maintain the required workload.
RoboBike for U.S. Air Force Fitness Program
The MicroFit RoboBike is an approved fitness assessment
product for the U.S. Air Force Fitness program. When the
RoboBike is installed on the Monark 828E or 818E bike and
connected to the computer’s serial port, the USAF FitSoft
program can automatically change the bike workload as well as
monitor the rider’s heart rate and bike rpm, greatly reducing the
chance of assessment error and result manipulation. This fully
automated assessment system allows one administrator to
conduct multiple fitness tests simultaneously. Best of all,
because the MicroFit RoboBike is compatible with current
Monark bike models and most chest strap heart rate
transmitters, there is no need for an expensive upgrade.
Note: The MicroFit RoboBike is not a component of the MicroFit
FAS-2 System but may be purchased as an optional item.
