The FAS-2 Interactive System includes a fully automated, medical-grade device for measuring resting blood pressure and heart rate. Simply put the cuff on your client’s arm, press the enter key on your computer, and FAS-2 does the rest. During measurement, you can view real-time graphics of the cuff pressure and heart pulses on the computer screen. At the conclusion of the measurement, the system automatically records the client’s systolic and diastolic pressure, and resting heart rate. It’s that simple.
The FAS-2 blood pressure and heart rate device is
connected to your computer and controlled by the
HealthWizard Fitness Profile program. Before each blood
pressure measurement session, the program opens the
pneumatic values and calibrates the cuff pressure. The
cuff pressure is automatically increased to 170 mmHg
and then released at a constant 3-5 mmHg/sec. If the
calculated systolic pressure is close to the starting
pressure or lower than 120 mmHg, the program will
suggest repeating the measurement and will calculate
an appropriate new starting pressure.
