Skinfold measurement is fast, easy and accurate with the MicroFit FAS-2 interactive skinfold caliper. The HealthWizard Fitness Profile program guides you through the entire process, and the skinfold data from the caliper is recorded automatically—eliminating the chance of typing errors. When you’re finished, the Fitness Profile program automatically calculates the body fat percentage.

The Fitness Profile program provides four skinfold body fat protocols for adults and one for children. For each measurement, the program displays a picture showing the exact position of the skinfold site. During measurements, real-time skinfold readings are continually displayed on-screen. Press a thumb switch on the caliper to signal the program to record the current skinfold measurement; press the switch again to signal the program to move on to the next measurement.

Note: The HealthWizard Fitness Profile program can be configured to operate with other methods of determining body fat; however, if you use an alternative measurement device, the FAS-2 caliper can still play a valuable role in your clients’ weight management program by monitoring changes in skinfold thickness.
